This page is maintained by Bruce Towne Eisenhard as an anchor in the constantly changing internet. (ie. this way I can keep the same email address for a while longer) From here there will be links to information on our family. This coat of arms is for the Eisenhard/Eisenhardt/Eisenhart family for which there are records of the name back to the time of Charlemagne (775 AD); however, whether our American ancestors descended from the serfs or the masters is probably lost to history. The first Eisenhards in America came here from southern Germany in 1751 to settle in Pennsylvania.
