In short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest work imaginable , for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of progress.
OK so you always try to schedule kitchen remodels on 2 houses, some time apart. But inevitably, they seem to always coincide.
The Broadmoor house was ready for the kitchen months ago, but work began just last week with bigger crews, accomplishing more in less time. Cabinets are going in this week. Flooring, then paint, and last the granite counter tops.
We can still cook in Bellevista, at least for another week. Cabinets are on order there and may be in mid January.
Hopefully we will be able to spend some time over at Broadmoor (if finished) to make way for the floor removal and ceiling scrape (that old popcorn) at Bellevista.
